Total Quantity or Scope​

Supply only of carpet for GTR rolling stock which will be fitted by GTR internal staff to 64x Class 377/1, 90x Class 377/2 and 377/4, 28x 377/3 units as detailed within the GTR specification.

Renewal Options​

The contract may be changed during the term at the requested of GTR should there be a unforeseen change to the overhaul programme shown in schedule 7

AIUI the fleet was already being refreshed under the project Aurora name, which has been ongoing for some while. There is an old closed thread about it somewhere, but it’s also been regularly mentioned, but buried within the thread about the GTR additional units, (now known to be 379s).

So I don’t necessarily think this indicates anything new, it’s material only for GTR staff to fit, so probably just more of what’s already happening…
