Some claim that when using Potoshop or Lightroom one can not make a photo properly. Others say that even the most professional people use these software packages to enhance their photos and that photo manipulation is just as old as the technique itself.
For those still in doubt or who get parallised by the thousands of features Adobe's magic kit has on offer, there is good hope as it is easyer then you might think.
One of the things I use Photoshop for is to restore what's lost, or in case below, create something that wasn't there at the time when the photo was made.
The photo was taken back in 2005 when I still used JPEG settings on my camera (whoops). As you can see there were some issues with the sky. (Left part of picture) A fair bit of smog on a hot day resulted in a horrible looking atmosphere.
As the train itself is bathing in sunlight we need to change something to get to a decent result.
So I changed that dull sky in to something that is generally associated with "Good weather", a beautiful blue sky, as can be seen on the right part of the picture.

What do you think? Is photo manipulation a bad thing, or are some things allowed to get to a good result for everyone?
