Took the ride on the 8th of February, the first or second day of operation in passenger service for this bus. I decided to go from Stratford City Bus Station to Primrose Street, where I was able to go home via the 344, 452 and 295.
Unfortunately, there were two selfish young girls who didn't care about anyone else on the bus but themselves - they were talking loudly, swearing and using inappropriate language, and even had a kick at making fun of my Clarks school shoes...WHEN I HAD SCHOOL THAT DAY! How on earth does this make sense? They got off halfway through the video.
***You can skip to 10:27 to avoid their disgusting presence and language***
Towards the end, I decide to go upstairs and film from there, managing to capture the Shoreditch BoxPark, and other E400H Cities, as well as NB4Ls on the 55, the bus from which the design credentials of the bus I was on originated. At the very end of the video, there are some shots of the upper deck of the bus, including the extended rear window at the back, the glazed window parallel to the stairs, but also, the lovely seat moquette and the gold coloured stop bells!
I love these Euro 6 hybrids and can't wait for more to be introduced!
