Abandoned Platforms between Penzance Station and Long Rock TMD

I have recently visited Penzance, Cornwall, and have noticed some abandoned platforms (with one that looks recently refurbished) between Penzance Station and Long Rock TMD. I believe they are opposite the old heliport, where Sainsbury's now stands.

Could anyone tell me what these platforms are, or were?
