Which online railway ticket purchasing sites allow seats to be chosen and reserved from a seating plan when purchasing non advance tickets eg.an off peak return ?

Many of the sites I have looked at merely allocate seats often with no reference to the preferences I have indicated (window, facing, priority etc)

Raileasy presents a seating plan for you to choose a seat reservation but then charges a £1.50 ticket booking fee.

I tend to use LNER to obtain seat reservations. Once you've booked a seat you can change that seat, if you wish. It doesn't cost anything to do.

LNER is my local long distance provider. However, for many trips i take my chance in the unreserved seats. For regional / other journeys using EMR, then reservations are not available.

If you add a journey to the basket and then click on the seat symbol change of allocated seat may be made to one of your choice.

Thank you Andy for the information. I have now booked the ticket through Railforums and was able to choose the seat I wanted from the train seating plan provided on the booking website.
