Hello all,
I am planning to complete these three, seperate, journeys in the same day:
"Newport -> Cardiff Central"
"Cogan -> Cardiff Central"
"Cardiff Central -> Newport"
all off-peak.
Would a "Newport <-> Cogan Anytime Day Return" be a valid ticket for all three of those journeys?
In other words, my theory is that if I were to split the return ticket into 4 sections, as follows:
A: "NWP->CDF"
B: "CDF->CGN"
C: "CGN->CDF"
D: "CDF->NWP",
I will be using sections A, C, and D, while discarding B.
It does involve exiting and re-entering the barriers at Cardiff Central, will I be able to do so, especially given that I won't use the aforementioned section B?
Would my theory work? Thanks in advance!
