Hi all,
Hopefully I've come into the right board, being relatively new to the forum.
I've come up wit ha plan to buy an Anglia Plus day ranger and travel over the entire validity network of it. Given the peak time restrictions it looks like it will have to be a Saturday, when there are no engineering works. Below is my proposed timetable, with a second option near the end of the day allowing to catch up potential delays.
All being well, I'm thinking of doing it on Saturday 11th November.
Does anyone have any thoughts? Fancy joining me? Naturally I'll do a report afterwards, and probably a video.
I had originally planned this some years ago (I found my timetable for 2009) but after watching All The Stations prompted me to finally put it into action!
Thanks

Wise to have a plan B. The 3 minutes at Cambridge will require a sprint from platform 1 to platform 6. Be very prepared for this to go wrong!

The tight connection at Norwich at 08.50 in the morning should be OK as it seems to be the same unit, the 7 minute connection into the 13.57 departure can go wrong, be in coach B at the front on the 13.50 arrival just in case.

Certainly getting value for money there.

Thanks. The 3 minutes at Cambridge can be backed up by returning to Ely 24 minutes later, and then taking the Ely-Ipswich as far as Stowmarket on the other backup 1832.
