So I’ve started using Apple Pay express transit mode on the tube.

No matter what I try, I can’t get my Apple Pay card to appear on the TfL website to view my journey history. I’ve been using it a few weeks, have tried removing and re-adding my physical card to the portal, but my Apple Pay card never appears.

Also, I’m pretty sure I’m being undercharged for it too. Viewing the charges on my card statement, I’ve had days that I haven’t been charged for, from a couple of weeks ago. I can tell what days I have been charged for based on unique expected fares that I worked out, and I am being charged less than what I use. I’m not hitting any weekly caps. Half expecting to receive a bunch of charges all at once, but hasn’t happened yet, pending or not!

Wonder if anyone else has had these issues with Apple Pay?

Using Google Pay, you have to use the card number that is on your physical contactless card and then TfL give you different reference numbers to find out how much you paid.

In all honesty, it's easier to use your physical card which makes it easier to look up your journeys online using the TfL Contactless & Oyster website.

In my limited experience, the few journeys I made with Apple Pay appeared on the journey history for the registered physical debit card automatically. But that was a few years back.

I regustered my physical card on the TfL app and I now have three versions of it, the actual card, Apple Pay with my phone and Apple Pay with my Watch.
There is no need to register speratee Apply Pay cards, it just happens as long as the actual card is registered.

Might be worth a call to TfL?
