Hi,

Does anyone know which operators support Apple wallet integration?
I believe virgin west coast do, and found out last week that transpennine express also support it.

Do you mean Apple Pay?

Technically any operator that accepts contactless payments will accept Apple/Android/Samsung/Whatever Pay.

Apple/Android Pay don't have any limits either but I believe the vendor may force the £30 limit. I haven't visited enough places AND spent over £30 to test. I'm sure I was able to pay £50 odd once at Asda but I don't use it enough to know if I need my fingerprint or not.

I think he means the ticket appearing in the Apple Wallet app, the same one that your cards are in for Apple Pay, rather than having to download a dedicated app. VTEC, Southern and Southeastern don’t, which is as far as my knowledge goes.

Yes in line with Nick66. Here is an example from transpennine express. It is much handier then opening the app and finding your ticket, and brightness is automatically changed so that it actually reads first time at the barrier.

There is a trainline.com logo in the bottom-left corner though?

Many don't like to pay a booking fee on top of the same priced ticket they can buy anywhere else.

The GWR app didn't allow tickets to be added to Wallet, the last time I tried using electronic tickets booked via the GWR website (and thus appearing in the app, when I'm logged in using the same account on the website and app). As an aside, adding a bike reservation forces paper ticket delivery (I guess there's a requirement for the extra paper ticket to be attached to the bike), so usually I end up with paper tickets!

On the occasions I have booked an electronic ticket, though, I have never had the gates at Oxford accept a ticket displayed on screen (as a QR code (or maybe some other type of square pattern representation)). Every time, they beep (indicating that they've recognised that a ticket has been presented) and then say “seek assistance”. Shrug.

Almost all tickets (the exception being Flexipass) on Caledonian Sleeper are available as eTickets. An eTicket is delivered as both a PDF and a pkpass via email to you. A pkpass is the file extension for a ticket, coupon or loyalty pass used by Apple's "Wallet" (formerly called "Apple Wallet" and, before that "Passbook"). So they will display in your Wallet (on iOS - on Android you need to download an app to read them). They can still be displayed in email though (just tap on the PDF).

Direct journeys on VTEC are available as e-tickets on Advance tickets. This can be placed int eh Apple Wallet.
Are they? What delivery option do you have to choose? I only ever get offered m-ticket, print at home, ticket on departure or post. I usually use m-tickets and find the app generally works well but I just hope it will remain under LNER as I have tickets in the app for after the changeover.

They're available but our site doesn't have that functionality just quite yet. As for the App there is an update soon.

That seems to say that they are available but you can't select an appropriate method of fulfilment. That, of course, would make them unavailable! I'm confused.
