On a train somewhere in Europe
That looks rather restrained, though I suspect some vinyls are yet to be applied.

Thought that they could have gone for something like THIS , can't even escape from Arriva Trains in Germany

I think the loco runs round to the other end of the train at Holyhead and Cardiff, in between trips.

Other 57 was DIT as 57s cant work in multi, getting rid of the other one means the leading one has less weight to pull and can accelerate faster and so on, 57 runs round at Cardiff and Holyhead

Why doesn't the Holyhead > Cardiff train call at Colwyn Bay, surely the most important intermediate station between the Junction and Chester?

It looks like the southbound was drawn up to stop at one station per county only (and also skip Hereford). You could argue that it should stop at the Bay rather than the Junction, but I wouldn't expect it to do both.

I would argue that Rhyl is a far more major station on the LLJ-CTR stretch than Colwyn Bay, though.

I would expect it to stop at stations where reasonable traffic is offering, not according to such random ideas as one per county. You might as well say you'll only stop at stations that have names with more than 8 letters in or something.

There as been a lot of chatter about this train "Geralds Wag Express" it was
set up as a political venture, The Ministers idea wanted one stop in each of the
Counties, Hence.
Holyhead (Yns Mon)
Bangor (Gwynedd)
Junction (Conwy)
Rhyl (Denbighshire)
Flint (Flintshire)

He caught a lot of flack leaving out Wrexham the largest town in North Wales and Hereford which is a Welsh franchise station. The train is heavily subsidised and carries few 1st class passengers average 5, the logic behind the idea is to bring North & South together, passengers were never taken into account on this venture.

On another point, Wagair starts again next week, again a political idea. a Manx Company have taken it over until Dec, they use a small light aircraft,
The last outfit went bust taking with it £800K of taxpayers subsidy paid by Wag, I understand to get another Company interested in the once daily Mon/Fri
flight Anglesey to Rhoose & Return the £1M plus subsidy as been exceeded,
