Avanti Euston

Hi, I’m a first time poster but long time lurker. I’m wondering if any of you lovely people could give me some information about what it’s like to work as a driver for Avanti at Euston?
What does a typical roster look like? Are sundays inside or committed? How many do you work and how easy is it to find cover for them?

I don't work for them but routes are Manchester, Preston via West Mids and Trent Valley and Chester I think. 390s and 221s. Top link goes to Liverpool too they lose 221s as far as I'm aware. Sundays outside. I've seen the roster. Obviously it suits some some people but there are long stints oaf perhaps 8-9 days on in a row which I personally wouldn't fancy but excellent work and excellent pay.

I saw on Aslefs website that sundays were outside but as they’ve still got them down as Virgin, I wanted to double check. If sundays are outside would the 8-9 day stint be out of choice?
I’m trying to figure out how easy it will be to fit family life around the job...

They are outside the working week Committed Sundays, but I don't know how easy they are to give away/get rid of.

I understand some weeks are five day weeks with a week of rest days every so often. I believe it's about every eight weeks at Euston, although other Avanti depots (such as Manchester) are a week of rest days every fifth week, with all the working weeks inbetween being five day weeks. When I say five day weeks, that's excluding the Sundays.

Someone posted Manchester's roster on here a while ago, so I'll repost it. BUT BEAR IN MIND, I *think* the week of rest days is approximately every eighth week at Euston.

Hopefully someone more in the know will come along to help out!
