Avanti Traveller free weekend tickets must now be booked by telephone

Apologies if posted elsewhere, but I couldn't find it.

It is no longer possible to make Avanti Traveller free weekend travel bookings online.
Please call the Avanti Traveller booking team on 0345 30 50 100 to make your booking.

So no longer possible to research what journeys are available or to make a booking without making a call, if you can get through, during office hours.

Brilliant! It's not like Avanti's Traveller members are their valuable customers or anything.

Presumably this is because their new (awful) bookings system can't handle them.

They really do become a worse TOC at every turn :)
There's other glitches too, I've been following them on Twitter.
Today's is rogue reservation dupes.
One guy the other day gave up booking his ticket online and drove 18 miles to a train station to book it.
Avanti said the train was full, he said it's rubbish as he's a regular traveller on that train and it's always empty.
Other people call the new website 'rubbish'.
Forget about staff, tired Pendolino's etc, the first customer facing point of sale (so to speak) needs to be bob-on. If it doesn't work properly, what kind of impression does that give you?
As for the Avanti Travellers who spend thousands it is ridiculous for them to call Avanti's main number.
I've just rang it.. (I need to speak to them anyway) high volume of calls etc.. etc.. how long would I have to wait to be put through? Ridiculous.
