Hello just joined so please be gentle with me.

I have been given a never used bardic lamp.

I have bought the battery conversion kit all well and good.

The lamp didn't have a bulb fitted . Whilst I was taking it apart to change the bulb (as per excellent previous post) A small spring fell out of the bulb holder itself. I cant see anyway or anything to secure the spring back into the holder with or what stops it falling out. What have I done wrong ?thumbnail_image0.jpg

Thankyou gentlemen for those replies. I think soldering that on is going to be quite a difficult task given how narrow it is in there. I will see if I can find a replacement bulb holder online.

By unscrewing the knob and removing the three screws on the top (you’ll find out why there’s a hole in the handle) the insides will come out. That might make things a little easier.
