The latest hurdle for the reopening of Beaulieu Park station has passed with detailed planning permission granted by Chelmsford council. Full additional details in story at

I note that the planned opening date is still 2026.

Says platform 1 and 2 will be on an island platform accessed via the overbridge (with lifts) and platform 3 directly from the station building. Given the layout of the site, I assume that means the additional track to be built will become the Up Fast/Platform 1?
