Does anyone have any pictures/information (or links thereto) about the standard and narrow gauge rail network that sprang up in the first half of the twentieth century to serve the quarry at Betchworth (near Dorking), Surrey and the sandpits just to the south?

Thanks steevp. We moved to the area a couple of years ago and I was looking at a few old maps the other day, and one from 1914 showed not only the quarry rail network, but three very long sidings to the south serving the sandpits near Old Reigate Road. I have never seen any information on these sidings.

Thanks again,
Ian.
