Sadly the fire at Bicester Motion has claimed the lives of 3 people today. It appears the building housed a number of classic vehicles that were lost including ex Red and White Bristol RE OAX9F and Bedford SB based cinema bus KJU267E. Thoughts are with the family of the 3 people who lost their lives.

That’s rather a shame, have they definitely been lost?

Devastating news regarding the fatalities, of course.

Saw a post about this on FB eariler this morning and wondered what the three fatalities mentioned were a result of. I regret that my very first thought was that the Red & White RE had been involved in a fatal RTC but this is so much worse somehow.

I mean no disrespect to the vehicles' owners when I say this, but the loss of the vehicles, however significant, pale in in comparison to the lives lost here. Thoughts go out to the familes, friends and colleagues of those who died and hope to whatever god that's listening that the injured are able to pull through.

The Oxford Mail had an article which said that both vehicles were stored inside the building which has been completely destroyed so unless they were outside on the day in question then almost certainly they are gone.
