Birmingham [BHM] - University [UNI] Season Ticket Availability

Hi,

Looking at Birmingham N St (BHM) to University Birm (UNI) for 7-day season ticket, only a 7DF first-class is available, no standard class.

Why is this?

Between BHM and Selly Oak (one stop further), there are no season tickets available at all, suggesting the one to University is an oddity or relic of a time when tickets were available.

I would imagine this is because it's a journey entirely within the Centro zones so a zonal ticket would be more appropriate. But I'll wait for someone from the area to confirm.

Network West Midlands (the local PTE, aka Centro) provide standard class tickets for these journeys. A 7 day train-only adult season ticket for Zones 1 amd 2 is £9.20 (available from stations - you will need a photocard).
