Sorry if this has been asked before.

What stations does"Birmingham stations" apply to.
Is Birmingham international covered?

It would be useful to have a sticky which listed what stations are covered in the major cities ie Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow etc

If it's not a Birmingham Station why when you buy a ticket via a TVM it says Birmingham Stations Still?

Of interest, Manchester Stations include two in Salford. Is there any other "Stations" ticket that can include a different city?

For ticketing Purposes Salford Central and Salford Crescent are not included in Manchester STNS.

It was infact British Rail who introduced this. Instead of for example :

Bedford BR to East Croydon BR. Now it is :

Bedford Stns to Croydon Stns

from Leeds, a return to Salford Central or Salford Crescent is the same price as a return to Manchester Piccadilly?

yes many fares can be the same, but you couldn't get on in Salford Crescent with a Manchester STNS ticket, as i explained Salford is.not.part of the group. But you could obtain a Zero Fare Excess if the price is the same.
