Not sure this is the right place to post this but feel free to move this to the right area.

I saw this map on Twitter from Abbey Wood and it shows a rather bizarre stopping pattern on the Woolwich line.

It shows Greenwich still having trains to Charing Cross even though these are completely routed via Lewisham these days.

It shows Charing Cross trains skipping Slade Green & Plumstead and accurately shows the Thameslink skipping Erith, Belvedere and Woolwich Dockyard, and also shows fast trains via Greenwich even though these ended years ago.

It’s clearly a mistake, probably from someone who has regurgitated the Thameslink stopping pattern perfectly (see the map for that) and has then incorrectly filled in the rest as Southeastern despite stations being omitted.

Add to that it does not show “trains to Charing Cross via Greenwich”. It correctly identifies services operated by Southeastern to London Bridge via Blackheath and Greenwich, and correctly shows these can continue then to either Cannon or Charing Cross. Think peak extra 2A (odd numbers) that went to Cannon via Lewisham, and you’ll see why the map is deliberately bland in case of engineering work and such.

Don't think the map show this at all. The Greenwich blob appears to be on the Cannon St (shared) and Thameslink line. Because Charing Cross / Cannon Street merge into London Bridge here on this diagram, I don't think there's any other way of showing it. Overall it's not an appalling attempt.

I'd agree the little ticks should be on both lines most of the time, and I guess that's an oversight or the best use of space. Also the desire for TfL to "mapify" everything where most TOCs gave this up years back due to the complications.

The map implies that Cannon Street trains skip Westcombe Park, Maze Hill & Deptford though, which is confusing.
