Hi,
Looking for information on the guest loco appearing at the Bo’ness diesel gala this weekend. The website just says “Guest loco no. XXXXX” which is very helpful. I’ve heard rumours it could be a COLAS 66. Anyone know?

GBRf 66 quoted elsewhere, but for Sunday only.

I’d say 37425 is a good bet, it is at Motherwell and here is an inbound 0Z25 DRS working on Friday:

Opportunity for 3 37s on one train?

Something coming from Millerhill too. Maybe a GBRf 66?
That was the path for a different visitor that seems no longer to be attending. It will be interesting to see how GBRf find a 66 for this.

Presumably there is one in the area that doesn't have work otherwise on Sunday.

Crazy how stuff like that happens. A tour last Saturday, onto Doncaster to Mossend freight this week, and with it being the locomotive at Mossend on Saturday night, it turns up at a gala eight days later.

Is 37425 there the whole gala? I notice the website says 66706 will be there only Sunday but there’s nothing saying 37425 will only be one day.

Timetable has it appearing on later trains on Saturday morning through to 10:30 on Sunday. Saturday has is scheduled on the 14:00 run but '374**' ambiguously scheduled for the 11:15 run.

'One day' is maybe true, in that it is a 24 hour period stretched over two days. :E
