The current work is accelerating now from the new buffers out towards the Hamme Strasse bridge.

I know everyone on here thinks Easter 2025 is wildly ambitious but Northern management are at the Forster Square station this morning and confirm the new LNER services will primarily use 1 and 2 with Northern using what they expect to be platform 0 and 3.

I noticed this too, and some are probably in the wrong sub-forums. There‘s some earlier construction photos in the speculation thread, and the main thread in infrastructure already seems more to do with speculating on why it isn’t needed! And now this thread is including the same ‘why is it needed’ questions…

It’s probably too late for the mods to sort this out now though.
