Travelling from Tunbridge Wells to London Charing Cross, I plan to break up my journey with a stop off at London Bridge.

I bought a Super Off Peak ticket on Sunday, from a machine that said “Super Offpeak Return to Charring Cross”, but when it printed it said to/from London terminals.

Restrictions printed on ticket are found at nre.co.uk/F4

Does anyone know if I am entitled to break up my journey at London Bridge or not?

From a practical perspective, the passenger would need to approach gateline staff for manual exit to ensure that the ticket is not taken by the gateline at London Bridge

The barriers at London Bridge will swallow your ticket if it's a physical ticket. Not sure how easy it will be to regain entry at London Bridge with either an eTicket or physical ticket.

If anyone wanted to demonstrate their contractual right to do this, they could buy this as an e-ticket from our website, specifying additional interchange time at LBG. (Untick 'use these options for return' if you don't want a break on the return journey).

If the e-ticket didn't allow re-entry then you could approach staff, and show the itinerary if required; the (optional) itinerary of your choice would be displayed on the PDF.

Thank you all for the prompt replies, and thanks for the welcome. If someone could link me to the relevant T&Cs / official guidance in the event I need to have a discussion with an uninformed staff member, that would be most appreciated!

It's not surprising that there was no issue. There's a whole bundle of valid stations that you could have been continuing on to after a break:

Cannon Street, Waterloo East, Charing Cross, Blackfriars, City Thameslink.
