Hi, seen reports that a bridge has been damaged and debris on the line somewhere near castle Cary - I have a friend on the 1655 train ex-Truro towards paddington that is currently stuck at Castle Cary and was wondering if anyone could provide any updates?

MOP was driving under a rail over road bridge (Warminster Rd bridge WEY 124 miles 51 chains) when a brick from the bridge struck the persons car. The person is okay and has the brick in their car.

Line blocked until they can identify where brick came from.

I reckon that 124 miles 51 chains is about a mile and a half east of Bruton, but I can’t see a Warminster Road there. There is a Warminster Road going under the line at Frome near the 115 milepost: it is a steel bridge with brick abutments. However, it is on the Frome Avoiding Line. (Unless they have remeasured it all.)

The bridge called Warminster Road is this one https://goo.gl/maps/Sd4EYLYScotnyUWH6 If you go to street view, you can make out the name on one of the information plaques.
