Hi everyone,

Yep me again I'm afraid!!!.

I have about a 1 hour spare window during my schedule on Tuesday whilst in Nottingham and was wondering if anyone could suggest anywhere that I could maximise numbers.

I was thinking market square as both tram lines seem to go through there, but how busy is it with buses??. I'd like to get a decent mix of both, and I'm looking for a good mix of numbers in Nottingham too (Nottingham city transport, Trent Barton (if they're still going?), kinch, Arriva... etc)

Any suggestions are always massively appreciated

Thanks!!

Parliament Street by the Theatre Royal is probably your best bet. It will have by far the most Nottingham City Transport buses as most routes pass here, with the Royal Centre tram stop right there as well. Trent Barton wise you'd get the rainbow one, the two, red arrow and the Calverton connection

And if you want to see a smaller independent whilst you're there, Marshalls leave Friar Lane hourly on their 90 to Newark. (Not that I'm being biased at all by saying this...!)

If you stand on the corner of Market Square and Angel Row you will get a good variety. Nottingham City Transport Navy, Orange and Green Line routes pass there. Trentbarton's Indigo, Skylink, Eighteen, Cotgrave Connection, Mainline and Villager services. Nottingham Community Transport Centrelink, Eco-link and some of the local link services. As well as Yourbus and Marshalls. You will also get the trams going past a regular intervals.

If you follow the tram tracks up the hill to where the Royal Centre is you will also get to see Trentbarton Rainbow one, Rapid One, The Twos and Red Arrow as well as various other City Transport services.

You mentioned Kinchbus they come no further in than Broadmarsh bus station and we don't have Arriva in Nottingham.

Broadmarsh may be worth a visit especially if you are coming from the station. You may get to see some kinch and CentreBus offerings together with YourBus and NatEx. The best reason though is that it will be your last chance to visit the old station. It closes on 8th July for complete redevelopment

As others have said it's basically Parliament Street by the theatre royal, if you can position yourself to see the NCT buses coming out of King and Queen Street as well, you will maximise sightings.

Then a walk down the tram tracks to Old Market Square and you'll see pretty much everything is else.

From these two locations I think it's just the small number of routes that only serve Broadmarsh, plus the uni bus 4 (although that might have stopped by now) that you wouldn't see.

Thanks for the advic guys!. Really appreciate that!. I had no idea broadmarsh was about to be redeveloped!. Might be worth a visit for old times sake!.

I will be travelling from the toton tram park & ride so hopefully get a few numbers on the way in anyway!

Anyone know the nearest tram stop for broadmarsh?. I'm guessing the train station??
