Maps of stations, each accompanied by detailed & thorough collection of images, have begun disappearing from the NRE website. It is not a systematic process, but a gradual phasing-out of such pages when they would otherwise need updating. Most of the new maps appear to be from
Some stations, such as Hackney Downs (which I have just archived), still have their old-style maps.
Others, such as Denmark Hill, have had theirs replaced with much simpler diagrams without the accompanying images.
Some, such as Glasgow Central, now have maps from Network Rail, again without the accompanying images.
New stations, such as Kenilworth, don't have a map at all. The URL which it would occupy is a 404.
I implore forum users to commit to preserving stations for posterity at web.archive.org. I have set myself a goal of 1 station a day. Websites such as Disused Stations can sometimes have problems finding historic images, so future generations will be grateful.
