Can anyone verify Greater Anglia's account details?

I was recently contacted about fare evasion through Greater Anglia and instructed a solicitor to deal with the case, resulting in an out of court settlement.

I've just gone to pay the fine agreed but it says the account name I've been given 'TUK East Anglia Ltd' does not match the details for the account I've been provided by the solicitor.

I'm wondering if anyone else ran into the same issue when trying to settle a fine out of court with Greater Anglia? Given it is a large sum I'm wanting to be extremely cautious before proceeding further. My solicitor is being slow to respond to emails querying this.

TUK will be Transport UK Group who are the majority owner of Transport UK East Anglia Ltd which is the company which is trading as Greater Anglia. What name was given by the solicitor? I wonder if they're using an older name as it would have been Abellio East Anglia until earlier this year.

TUK is 'Transport UK' who took over the operations of Abellio, so TUK East Anglia would make sense for the 'company' running Greater Anglia. However, it may be worth either you or the solicitor confirming the account details.

If you are unsure of the account details it is always worth phoning the company’s official number to check.

There’s always a small risk where an email account will be hacked and fake invoices sent out.
