On BRFares.com, for London Terminals to Cambridge, there is a "Any Pemitted" super off-peak day return fare of £9.50 (with a young person's railcard) ticket code CBA: http://www.brfares.com/#!fares?orig=1072&dest=CBG&rlc=YNG

However, booking engines only have a fare of £10.55. This is also "Any Permitted" and priced by FCC, not "GRT ANG TRNSONLY" as on BRFares. It is ticket code CBB (which doesn't appear on BRFares).

Can anyone suggest whether the £9.50 fare is actually available for purchase?

Also, is anyone aware of any combination cheaper than the following from West Ruislip (or Zone U1256) to Cambridge+Bus, to travel at the weekend avoiding advance tickets, with a railcard:
WRU-KGX Oyster £2.00
KGX-CBG £10.55
PlusBus £2.05
KGX-WRU Oyster £2.00
Total £16.60

It would be a bit cheaper to use Oyster to Finsbury Park, and then a paper ticket from there, however that would mean you couldn't use the fast Cambridge trains.

I've noticed inconsistencies with NXEA/GA's fares on brfares.com before – I e-mailed the site owner and the explanation at the time was that the TOC was late finalising their fares so they missed the most recent NFM release. Perhaps the same thing has happened again, involving FCC too.

FCC offered the ticket at a reduced price until last week, but the 10% discount has now finished. The £10.55 is therfore correct.
