I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, so my apologies if it is.
Just a word of warning, my other half and I went to Chester le Street and the parking machines say, it was a £1 to park but everything had to be done on the phone.
On paying said £1 to Ringo or someone, I got an email from stamine boost with the patking paid but then i was automatically billed £60 for a years subscription, which i didnt realise until i went into the bank, the next day. I did get said money straight back, after a frustrating search for a contact number. Then a lengthy wait on the phone and a bit of an irrate conversation with the woman on the end of the phone about paying £61 for just over an hours parking. The lady sorted it relatively quickly and just shows I'm probably not the first and probably not the last. No doubt, she has to deal with this type of crap, Day in Day out.
Just be vigilant folks, I'd just hate anyone or anyone's family member to get caught out in a similar way, as i stupidly was.
