I was caught on Govia ThamesLink using a freedom pass. I was stopped at St Albans. I have been looking at some posts of similar situations and it seems prosecution is almost 100% certain. Unwisely, I signed a witness statement which only increases my chances of being convicted.
I have recently received an intension to prosecute letter. The only small difference is that I was stopped by Govia staff rather than Tfl. However they did say they would be passing my details to tfl.
I am just wondering if I am going to be prosecuted twice by Tfl and Govia? Also I have heard that Govia are a bit more reasonable than Tfl, is this true?
