Christmas/Boxing Day 2012 Manchester area

With MediaCity expected to be fully operational next Spring, will there be more pressure to run transport services, including train services on Boxing Day in particular?

Also, this year I think Manchester Airport was the largest airport with no Boxing Day service so that doesn't look good on TPE and Northern.

All comes down to funding. And I enjoyed my Boxing Day off, after a horrible week leading up to Christmas.

Media City, they will use the taxi to get around.

Man Airport, as usual extensive use of the bus/taxi/private hire.

So do you not watch TV on Boxing Day? If the camera men and other technical operatives can't get to work then they'll be no TV.
