Is this getting worse again?

I notice that 180107 lost around 20 minutes in the Grantham area last night whilst working the 1927 Kings Cross to Sunderland.

One of several such instances on the ECML over recent weeks, is it the units themselves causing delays or signalling/pathing issues.

No I was on the service. There was a medical emertgency on the train and it had to make an unscheduled stop at Grantham whilst paramedics attended and removed the patient from the train. The staff were really good at keeping everyone informed. If anything the unit performed well as a spirited run from Grantham to York, where I got off, had gained 5 minutes of the 26 minute delay.

Thank you for that.
