You have a really good camera
And what makes you think you have the right to mock their camera when they posted the image looking for some information? Even if you speak from the exalted position of owning a Canon EOS 1DsMkIII.

Bengley if you actually have mocked Neils camera well you should be ashamed as it's quite harsh and same goes for the LOL from ceclia.

Ooo, nice. A "Skinhead" in BR Banger Blue. :)

It looks like an OLE survey train on a transit move. The formation would appear to be a stores van, a survey vehicle with dummy pantograph (though it doesn't look like Mentor as it only has space for the one pan) and a former ScotRail/Anglia Mk2 DBSO for push-pull working.

Whats wrong with the picture then David Bloody Bailey? And yes,I am a camera fan and use 35mm SLR,Digital SLR and video cams....it's just a picture asking what was this, not your opinion of his camera!

Same here.

I joined the railways too late to have ever had the chance of a go on one, but they were forever passing the end of the playing fields on XC passenger and ballast workings, both singly and in pairs, when I was at school.

I even have memories of a single Goyle coming to the rescue of a dead Duff at the head of a freightliner bound for Felixstowe. From a standing start the poor thing had to drag the train up the hill out of Bury St Edmunds and then over Elmswell Bank. Hats off to whoever was driving it that day, as by rights such a formation should have ended up stalled somewhere.

Bloody marvellous machines. It always makes my day when I roll into Liv St and see one in the platforms on a test train.

Erm, why are you guys saying I shouldn't mock the camera? I wasn't being sarcastic at all. The colours in that picture are amazing... Don't just make assumptions.
