Class 37

I saw a comment yesterday that 37s are now banned from the Harrogate line.
Which was the reason for the 20 doing the inspection special last week. As featured in Swiss tonis film clip.

Has a reason for the ban been announced and does it affect anything else?
Does it also affect any other routes in N,W E or South Yorkshire?

Clearance issues I believe, 37s are a bit tight in places.


No idea on whether if affects other locations or classes....

I heard the other day that 37s are now barred from the Wrexham - Dee Marsh line, however 66s are still allowed.

I bet some of the DMU's like the class 185's are even tighter?

The 158s seem to be ok on that line. They pop-up on there occasionally.
