Class 86 1M11 Glasgow-Euston last night?

Noticed on the WCML cam near Preston that 1M11 sleeper went past with an 86 on the front presumably 86101 just wondering if anyone had any Gen as to what happened to the 90 failed??....train was bang on time though

could of also been 86701 or 702?

Always good to know where your own locos are!!

Unlikely to have been 701 or 702, both were on LNWR. 86101 stationed at Crewe, 87002 at Carlisle, so could have been either of those.

Reported as 90039 throughout.

I say yesterday it was early hours of this morning so it left glasgow wednesday night.....was defo not 90039 it had the 3 distinctive 86 headlights so could of been 1 of three really was not 87002 thats for certain.

702 on exam, 701 in use with GBRf, can only been 86101 as that was stabled at Crewe and still is as far as I know.

Asked the question and 90039 was confirmed.
