CrossCountry application process

I’ve applied for a position at CrossCountry. Taken the online tests and passed. Just wondering if anyone knows what the next step is i.e interview etc. And how long between being informed I’ve made it to next stage by passing the onlines and actually doing the next stage.

I know I’m being impatient as I was only informed of making it through to the next stage yesterday but I’ve been applying with different TOC’s for over a year now (first time with CrossCountry) and have recently been thinking a career on the railway isn’t going to happen for me, so this has given me a bit of confidence back that it might finally happen.

First class host/retail service manager in Leeds. I’ve got an informal telephone discussion this week.

ok just to let you know the managers there are very keen so will want you to be super customer focused basically really enthusiastic!! also have they said what will happen next what where the tests you did online as normally you would come in for an assessment day

It was numerical and verbal reasoning tests.

The next stage is the informal telephone discussion then I guess wait and see if I progress to next stage.

Out of interest how long was your status on 'Shortlisting'? I applied for a TM at Newcastle and mine still says Shortlisting.

I suppose it’ll depend on number of applicants and how urgent they are to fill the position.
