any help appreciated or contacts that would know about Cummins engines and their UK applications.

Cummins Engine QSK, It seems to be found on bigger vehicles, off-road, marine, rail.

The ECM is called the QSK19, and the number CM2150 is also used, we're looking at engines in the range 755 to 800 hp, 560 to 600kW.

Questions are

1. Is this kind of Cummins engine used in UK Rail or other Y/N

2. What kind of applications is it used on in the UK?

3. What are the vehicles we should look for that have this engine in it and were can I find them?

Thanks Colin Gray

QSK 19s are fitted to Classes 180, 185 and 220-2 Most are 750 but some have been de-rated to 700 in the last couple of years to reduce fuel burn.
