Good evening everyone,

I'm currently in the application process for a role with GWR for Customer service gateline and train dispatch.

I have been invited to take part in the online Train dispatch multi tasking test and wondered if anyone has any advice, tips or hints on order to pass this! I have had a look on current threads.butccant seem to find too much. If anyone can help me out with either a reply to this thread or a message I would be very grateful.

Thanks again all

Rob

you have 27 questions ,you need a laptop not a mobile.
each question lasts 3 seconds. on the left of the screen it shows a sequence , such as green light, whistle ,train ready, it mixes up that sequence to trick you.
you tick underneath ok or not ok to depart.
at the same time on the right of the screen there is a flow chart of stations from two platforms and dept times.,about 6 stations in total
it states the off peak and peak times in the 24 Hr day for the train company.
it then asks a question, such as is such and such a station off or peak if a passenger arrives at 1900 etc.or is this station before or after what station.
you answer. you get 3 seconds.
but at the same time the departure sequence is running on the left side.
you answer both questions.but concentrate on the left question.if you can do the right question at same time well done.

Depends on which station you have applied for. Taunton was mine with covering Tiverton rest day aswell.

fine, was surprised I was expected to use my car to cover other stations iny county on staff days off or holiday.
that's why they pay£4000 extra. you can take a train, but if it's a late finish or early start ,you need your car. my car is old and I don't trust it. plus you have to go to Swindon for training. they will email by next Friday to say yes or no
