Day Rangers and diversions

Hi,

On the 28th October I am planning to go on a Lincolnshire Day Ranger, however there are no trains running to Grantham this day, meaning Nottingham-Norwich is diverted via Melton Mowbray and such. Since it doesn't call at any additional stops, would my ticket be valid?
