Delays from East Worthing

I have recently been visiting family down in Worthing, and it has shown me how terrible their service is.

I’ve had to get the train to East Worthing and, for a large town (appx. 100k) the service is appalling. 1tph for a densely populated area, this area serves a large trading community, two schools, and more.

All of the trains are delayed, an average service is that one is 35 minutes late. The next is cancelled. Leaving you a 2hr 35 minute wait for a train to go to the town centre.

I wouldn’t expect that from a large company like GTR.

When was this? Are alternative bus services available?

Alternative bus services are available, but hard to get.
Compass Travel operate, and yes, you can get a bus but it is:
1. More expensive
2. Slower
3. 0.75bph
4. You can’t get a seat
Its a bit of a pain.

You've still not answered this; services for the past few days do not have any hint of what you are suggesting:
