If I paid for an anytime return from Derby to Nottingham, would I be able to travel outward direct and return via East Midlands Parkway on that ticket or not?

If not, what ticket/s should I ask for?

I'm aiming to complete the three chords to the north of East Midlands Parkway which see regular passenger services.

A quick glance on a journey planner suggests the return is valid via East Midlands Parkway (Note - you'll have to put this as a via point in journey planners). Personally, I would suggest buying it online and collecting via TOD incase you have any problems as you'll have a valid itinerary then.

Off-Peak Day Return £7.40
Anytime Day Return £7.75
