Hi. Would anybody be able to find out the price of a return on a Saturday leaving Dewsbury on the 08:01 train to Huddersfield then the 08:27 to Warrington. I am travelling with 1 adult and 1 child with a family railcard:D
Thanks,
Joshypie

317 forever - you can't do links like that as they rely on session cookies to work. Also the OP said 1 adult and 1 child. Nevermind, better luck next time :)

Joshypie - The through fare is as follows:

Dewsbury - Warrington Stns
CDR - OFF-PEAK DAY R TPE
00000 - ANY PERMITTED

1 Adult @£ 11.60 = £ 11.60
1 Child @£ 3.35 = £ 3.35
__________
£ 14.95

Standard Class Return
That seems fairly reasonable to me. It's more than the cost of splitting at places like Manchester, Stalybridge, etc.

It may be possible to reduce the price, but it seems unlikely.

It's one of the rare examples where you are NOT punished for travelling further!

Well he said he was travelling "with 1 adult and 1 child", so it would be a possible interpretation (although not necessarily a correct one) that there is him, another adult, and a child.

Anyhow, the price as previously noted is £11.60 per adult and £3.35 per child issued as a through ticket from Dewsbury to Warrington. Not worth getting separate tickets for the Dewsbury to Huddersfield section; it'll cost a couple of quid more and there are no break of journey restrictions.

Sorry, yes you're right.

Also we don't know if it's the adult or the child who made the request so it could be 1 adult and 2 children.;)
