Hi all!
I'm currently working on a side project (now that uni is done till september) to create a semi-accurate CAD model of the class 800 cab (specifically GWR Models) and was wondering whether anyones knows where I can perhaps obtain dimensions on the cab or some components inside. This could in future become a fullsize cab for playing simulators.

If not on a class 80x perhaps any other units? I've been trying to find the buttons and other switches used from manufacturers like Siemens and Schnieder with no real accurate source of where the real ones may come from - these would definitely help as a reference to general dimensions of the panels!

I've made a TPWS panel, and I found these are made by Mors Smitt (no datasheet available)...

Many thanks
:)

TPWS isn't only made by Mors Smitt.
Thales and Unipart Rail also make their own version of TPWS.

What kind of detail on parts would you be looking for?

I meant that Mors Smitt makes the TPWS DMI in the Class 80x. I Did know that thales makes some but didn't know about Unipart Rail (going to look and see whether they have any datasheets publically available.

I've also been trying to find who manufactures the buttons and pilot lights used in the cab - I've found similiar looking ones from Siemens, including an AWS acknowledge button - but the uncouple covers, and the e-stop + the collar seem to be custom?

If you do have any information on any of the above, that would be very much appreciated! Would save plenty of time calculating it based on known dimensions, or even going up to York with some calpiers ;) (little too nerdy...)

I've just found the push button covers for the uncouple button are an EAO design.

The majority of an IET's cab is EAO Series 04, excluding the ATP equipment (Cuttler-Hammer or SE9001 from my recollection) and wiper controls (telemechanique). E-Stop looks like it's an EAO part as well (704.064.2) the shroud around it is (usually) a custom part for the install.
AWS Reset PBs are usually from Marfelec, EAO or Schneider Electric.
