Dover Priory 'Platform 4'

Something strange I've noticed is that some departures at Dover Priory that usually would leave from Platform 3 are shown on Google Maps to be leaving from Platform 4, which does not exist. The Southeastern app shows the correct platform, so I was wondering if anyone knows why Google Maps might do this.

The 6:24 train is the culprit in both screenshots.

Similarly, does anyone know what the (e) after London Victoria is there for on Google Maps? My best guess is east as it'll arrive on the eastern side of Victoria, but I don't know why that would need to be shown on a public departure board.

This sounds odd but I think it's that the train joins at Faversham to another train.

The timing point location Southeastern services use for Victoria in the Network Rail schedules is described as London Victoria (E). Trains that don't join seem to use London Victoria on the Google Maps departure board correctly. The train it joins onto leaves Ramsgate from platform 4 which might be where that number is coming from.

The platform number is really weird and tried another location with joins. Using Tattenham Corner it's currently showing some trains as platform 1 when all trains are showing as platform 2 on National Rail Enquiries, the ones from platform 1 the portion from Caterham leaves platform 1 rather than 2.

Interesting. I wouldn't have guessed the E would have anything to do with attaching and dividing. I'm not sure there are any words that start with E that would be relevant to it, so it's weird that's the letter they went with.

If it relates to London Victoria (E) then the E will probably stand for 'Eastern', just to separate the station from the 'Southern' side.

Similar happens at Clapham Junction for the SWR platforms with 'M' for Main and 'W' for Windsor.
