Anyone just finished school or currently on a course that could confirm the dress code?

I believe it's smart casual with no trainers?

Jeans/Trousers?
Polo top/Shirt?
Shoes?

Thanks in advance.

I would always overdress on the first day, trousers, shirt, smart shoes etc.

I personally would not wear jeans for 'smart casual', it would be a suit without jacket.

First day, shirt/trousers/ shoes...
Second day, polo/chino's/trainers.
They know you need to be comfortable and on my course we had quite a long walk to and from school... hope that helps and good luck with the course.

we had people in joggers.
They really don't care. Or didn't when I was there last year.

Knowing Signallers. Probably slippers. <D

Dress professionally on the first day. Ask the course tutor when you get there.

10 years ago we were told no jeans, not football or rugby shirts, no T shirts, only shoes or dark trainers, and I got told off about wearing black combat trousers.

Went to signalling school in the late 80s and it was nowhere near formal as formal as it appears these days, I think most were wearing jeans and t-shirts the rest jeans and normal shirts, but alas how times change.

and I got told off about wearing black combat trousers.

And yet dark blue combats form part of our uniform lol
