Does anyone know of any BVE routes where you can switch cabs at the end of one journey to do a return or any loop lines where this is possible?

hi joshcoupe. I think there is only one route and that is NWM where you driver on the branch line, change ends and drive back, also on there a diagram lets you drive out of the carriage sidings into the station and change ends.hope that helps regards hinko:D

Yes it also works in Open.

It needs to be a route file that has a change of ends in it like the 08.12 [170] Whitminster - Ludgate Hill XC one for example.

The train for this one starts in the carrage siding at Whitminster and you change ends in the station by pressing Escape, selecting Jump to station and then CHANGE ENDS 08.12.

On my selection of routes on Network West Midland it doesn't have the 08:12 Whitminster - Ludgate Hill XC - is this an add-on I need to get?

That means you didn't download a copy of the 2011 'preview' version of NWM before the site closed down, but a more early version.

If it's Feb 2009 release that has a few routes that change ends, one being the Hi Res 13.05 [158] route file in the 2001 - 2005 folder.

You run a service to Blackbrook, then change ends and go to Radley Jct.

If I remember correctly more early versions of NWM did not have any change end route files and I can't check as I don't have them.

No, I don't think that they did. The return route from B;lackbrook to Whitminster was added at around the same time as the loop line to Salford Bridge (December 2008 I think) and then on to Frankley Junction (April 2009) was introduced.
