As part of the debates and arguments about the current Industrial action, drivers are getting brought up a lot (even though largely irrelevant).
The distribution of money and privatisation comes up a lot with people saying we wouldn't be paid as much if nationalised and that if we get payrises it has to come from somewhere.
So I thought a good bit of info would be driver wages in Europe as a lot of those companies are nationalised and I believe drivers still get good pay.
I've tried googling German and Dutch train driver wages but not had many good results .
Could anyone help give an idea of what train drivers and conductors earn in Europe?
So far I found this regarding German DB drivers

So DB drivers €2.5k-3.5k per month (£2k - 3k)and they say this is low.

What's all the fuss about? The strike is over, right? Now the Bundestag is even talking about when workers can strike? When it comes to German train drivers, they have all the right in the world. DW looks at why.
