Durham to Hull returning from Manchester

Hi all.

I am wondering if the following route is permitted and if so what type of ticket(s) are the best to purchase. Is it best to split the tickets and if so where ?

I will be traveling from Durham to Hull this Friday after 3pm but I will be returning to Durham on the Monday morning 5.57am at Manchester Pic.

Just to clarify, you're travelling:

Friday after 3pm from Durham to Hull
Monday on the 05.57 from Manchester Picc to Durham

Also what are your priorities for speed/cost, and do you hold any railcards?

Doubt it very much that any ticket between Durham and Hull will be valid via Manchester. TPE should have some cheap advances for Durham - York and Manchester - Durham.
