Hi everyone
We bought a printer which is air print and e print

We can print in the house in most rooms from our apple devices.

We want to print from outside but have no idea on e print

What is the first step having already down loaded an app and no I don't know if it is the right one

Any help would be great

Paul

It's a HP printer right?

If so, ePrint is merely their trademarked name for various remote printing solutions.

HP's ePrint-enabled printers are all completely compatible with Apple's AirPrint standard which is included in all iOS devices (iPhone, iPad etc) so you won't need to download the ePrint app for iOS - the ePrint app is only helpful if you're using an ePrint Enterprise setup.

For Android devices, you'll need to get the ePrint app from the Play Store as there is no network printing standard built into Android as standard.

When you say "print from outside" are you talking about using AirPrint from an iOS device while you're physically outside the house (if you can't print, it's probably because you're out of signal range) or about not being able to use the email function of ePrint from some other location?

I don't know about whether Canon's printers have an email print function.

Have you read through the full manual to find out yet? These days this is usually a PDF on the manufacturer's website with just an installation guide included in the box.
