Hi
Everyone.

Can anyone provide some info about the salary of an ECRO. The base salary is advertised as approx - 64k . Is that including Sunday's or Sunday's are paid on top of your base salary?
On a 12 hour roster how much can one expect to earn ? Currently I am working as a grade 9 signaller and planning to switch roles to ECRO. So wondering if my new wages will be less, more or equal to my current role with average overtime if I make the switch ?
Thanks for all your responses.

Have you discussed the move internally? It may be worth reaching out to your colleagues already in such roles, any relevant managers you can get hold of, etc.

Network Rail should want to support your development, and are likely to be more than happy to discuss things such as this.

Of course, I’m not in your shoes so that is very easy to say!

Sure its the new name for an ECO.

Electrical Control Room Operator. Pulls the plug out the wall when you ring them up.

Do you have the required electrical engineering degree/electrical background they are asking for ?
