Ely Potters Yard

Afternoon everyone

Apologies first for not using the correct terminology, but I have less than little knowledge of the industry but am interested in parts.

I live in Ely and quite often walk the dog around the back of Potters Yard on the Roswell Pits path, it gives a really great view of the Potters siding.

After being away with work for the past few days I've noticed that the ex-Gatwick Express trains which were parked there seem to have depleted by about half in around 4 days since I last walked past.

I was wondering if anyone knew where they had gone and how they would have been moved?

18 are going back into service with SWR by end of 2018, so numbers will gradually deplete. Potters will need a new income sideline.

It's however many were originally there, bar three. One is already back at Bournemouth, another two are on their way as I type this.
